Antonique Smith
Antonique's credits include Broadway, film and television as well as her ethereal R&B records. Smith was born in 1983 in East Orange in New Jersey. She first made an appearance on Sidney Lumet's 100 Centre Street television series in 2002. Then she got more attention when she starred as Mimi in the smash Broadway musical Rent, which ran from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, she also appeared as Faith Evans in Julie Taymor's feature film Across the Universe. Smith's vocal and acting ability was showcased two years later when she appeared in Notorious the biopic of Biggie Smalls and Biggie Smalls, in which she played the rapper/singer Faith Evans.
